Terms of use
Updated October 26, 2026
The rules for using Emergyne Academy, for learners, trainers and visitors. By creating an account, you accept them.
The French version prevails in case of difference.
1. Publisher
Emergyne Academy is published by Emergyne, based in Lomé (Togo). Registration in progress. Contact: emergyne@gmail.com.
2. Purpose
Emergyne Academy is an online learning platform: courses, packs, ebooks, lives, subscriptions to trainers and certificates. These terms govern access to the website and the app (PWA), with or without an account.
Purchases and subscriptions are also governed by the terms of sale.
3. Account
Sign-up is open from the age of 12. Under 18, learners use the platform with the consent of a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these terms on their behalf; a purchase requires that consent. Where the law of the learner's country sets a higher age, that age applies.
You give accurate information, keep your password secret and remain responsible for what is done with your account. Tell us at once about any use you did not make.
The name on your account is the one printed on your certificates.
4. Permitted use
Contents you buy or receive are for your personal use. It is forbidden to:
- share your account, resell or distribute a content, file or prompt outside the platform;
- get around a payment, a protection or a technical limit;
- bulk-collect contents or data (bots, scraping);
- post a message, review or file that is unlawful, hateful, misleading or infringes the rights of others;
- harass another member or a trainer in the messages.
5. Trainers
A trainer is a member whose application Emergyne accepted. They create their contents themselves and remain responsible for them: they guarantee they hold the rights to them and that they comply with the law.
They grant Emergyne, for as long as the contents are on the platform, the non-exclusive right to host, display, promote and sell them worldwide.
Every content, certificate template and event is reviewed by Emergyne before it is visible; Emergyne may refuse or remove a content, giving its reason.
The trainer's share of each sale is shown in their space. Payouts go through SasPay to a verified payout method, once their identity is verified; payout fees are borne by the trainer. Identity photos are deleted 30 days after the decision.
6. Intellectual property
The Emergyne brand, logo, interface and Emergyne contents belong to Emergyne. Trainers' contents belong to their authors. No right is granted to you beyond the personal use set out in section 4.
7. Certificates
A certificate is issued when you complete a course that gives one. It carries a unique number. Its verification page is public: it shows your name, the course, the date and the number, so a recruiter can check it.
A certificate obtained by fraud may be revoked.
8. Suspension
If these terms are breached, Emergyne may suspend an account, remove a content or block a conversation, after asking for an explanation unless urgent. You may contest the decision by email.
You may ask for your account to be deleted at any time by email.
9. Availability and liability
We do our best to keep the platform running continuously but cannot guarantee it: maintenance, provider or network outages.
Contents are educational; they do not replace professional advice. Emergyne is not liable for content published by a trainer unless, once informed of clearly unlawful content, it failed to remove it promptly.
10. Changes, disputes
These terms may change; the date of the version in force is shown at the top of the page. A significant change is announced to you before it applies.
These terms apply to users worldwide. If you are a consumer, you always keep the protection given by the mandatory laws of your country of residence. In case of disagreement, write to us first: we look for an amicable solution before any other step.
